Peanut Butter Cacao Cups

 

 

 

A nourishing healthy twist on a classic treat, naturally sweet, rich, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

INGREDIENTS:

Chocolate Layer

• ¼ cup coconut oil (melted)

• ½ cup cacao powder

• 3 tsp maple syrup or honey (adjust to taste)

 • Pinch of sea salt

Filling

• ½ cup natural peanut butter (no added sugar)

• ½ cup almond meal

• 1–2 tsp maple syrup or honey (optional, for sweetness)

• Pinch of sea salt

METHOD

1. Make the chocolate layer: Melt coconut oil and whisk together with cacao powder, maple syrup, and salt until smooth.

2. Prepare the filling: In a separate bowl, combine peanut butter, almond meal, and sweetener. Mix until thick and slightly doughy.

3. Assemble: Spoon 1–2 teaspoons of chocolate mixture into mini muffin liners. Freeze for 5–10 minutes until slightly set.

4. Add the filling: Scoop a small ball of peanut butter mixture into each liner. Press down gently.

5. Top with chocolate: Pour remaining chocolate over the top to cover. Sprinkle with a pinch of sea salt if desired.

6. Freeze & enjoy: Set in the freezer for 20 minutes or until firm. Store in the fridge or freezer for a grab-and-go treat. Rich, creamy, and full of real ingredients. These taste like a treat but nourish like a whole food snack.
